Almost all people lose their mind when faced with the most sumptuous meals during the holidays. It is for this reason that people end up in hospital Emergency Rooms or in full-packed gyms by in the middle of January of the New Year. How does one exactly avoid the curse of junk food and overeating during the Holidays?
1. Be consistent with what you usually do. Above all this, just keep doing what you are already doing. If you are already on my client list, then you know about eating the right foods 90% of the time and keeping active 3-5 days a week. This year must not be different. Instead of having your cheat meals with other people, you'll actually eat this type of meal with your family.
2.Do you toss your time for workouts out the window? While you are in the holidays, be sure you make time for your workouts. There'll be a lot of parties to go to. This will add up to your already busy schedule but make sure you still preserve going to the gym. Be strict about your exercise program while you party the holidays away. Things can quickly slip away from you in no time and soon, you will find that your day is filled with everything but. Keep this promise to yourself and make sure you follow through. Also, you'll realize that you can still accommodate more guests that come by when you do this. Just limit the amount of time you visit, and then be sure to hit the gym. To remedy this, bring your gym clothes and stuff when you head to a party; at the end of the feast, hit the gym. The only person that can stop you from actually making it to the gym is yourself. Keep this appointment and try not to put it off. Sure, it might take some effort, but when you do it, you will find you still have a body that looks great.
3.Do you dehydrate yourself? While you are having your meals, be sure that you avoid sugary beverages and alcoholic ones as well. Why not choose wine, diet sodas or water over beer and sugar-filled drinks. In case you didn't know, water consumption alone will help you to limit your calorie intake during this time.
4. What are your body's limits? Start the checklist by understanding how large or small you want your body to be. If you are male, then you need to consider that you should keep your waist at no more than 33". Don't depend on your reflection for a check on your figure, pay huge attention the the number every week. A single inch might be easy to put on, but it will take a month to take it back off. Along with all the other amount of weight you have incurred, it seems too impossible to easily lose them.
